CSI: The Experience

Headed down to this with a friend after seeing the ad on tv. We expected a lot from this, raving reviews on tv and online, no idea how much it cost but happy to pay whatever based on the assumption we would not be disappointed.

Well it was €18 per crime scene, 3 crime scenes in total. They didn't differ in terms of difficulty or anything, just differed in terms of settings. We picked our crime scene and off we went to the briefing room where we were given clipboards & investigation sheets. Our next stop was the crime scene where we had to take note of anything we deemed to be relevant to establishing the identity of the victim & how they died. After that we then moved on to mock CSI HQ where we ran drug tests, got results of tyre tracks & looked at police records to ascertain who the victim was.

Needless to say we were able to identify the victim, the killer, cause of death & everything else. It was a fantastic set up, really different & very glad I went. Only downside was that it was definitely aimed towards a family day out & most kids would have also been able to work out the puzzle with the help of their parents.

So as a review, it was good, very good, but not the most challenging of mysteries to solve. Worth the €18 imo though. Just left it at the one crime scene mind.
